Workshop 3- Effective communications for people living with dementia and carers

Do you work with or support people affected by dementia?

We, at Cwm Taf Morgannwg Regional Partnership Board (RPB) are working to create recommendations on the best ways to communicate with people living with dementia and their carers.

As part of our research, we’d very much welcome your input so that together we can improve dementia care and support across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil.

Whether you are affected by dementia, or a professional working in services, we want to hear your ideas.

We are holding an online workshop to identify:

• What are barriers to communication and information for people living with dementia and carers? 
• How would people preferred to be informed and communicated with? 
• How can we make the information accessible and engaging?
