Creating a neurodiversity friendly Cwm Taf Morgannwg. 

Join the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Regional Partnership Board for a hackathon to inspire positive action together.

• Are you a parent or a carer to somebody who is neurodivergent?
• Do you work with or support neurodivergent people?

We want to involve you in creating good neurodiversity services and support for children, young people and adults in Cwm Taf Morgannwg (Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf). 

On the 20th October, we will be holding a hack-a-thon to consider what works well, and what improvements need to be made.

By bringing people with lived experiences and professionals together, we can explore what is important to neurodivergent people and their families.

Collectively, we can look at ways to strengthen good practice, overcome challenges and improve experiences.

What happens during a hackathon?

During the event we will break into small teams to hear experiences from people who have been/ are going through the health and social care system. 

Groups will look at both good examples and barriers with a creative practitioner, and come up with ideas for positive change.

At the end of the day, a creative piece will have been created to reflect conversations and inspire action. 

This event will be the launch of a programme of activity that will result in improvements. 

Those attending will benefit by:

• Improving knowledge and awareness of the current situation 
• Exploring what needs to change
• Hear about future opportunities to inform improvements across CTM
